Home
by Rob

We're waking up at home today. Abbie was the most (outwardly) excited last evening when we pulled off the end of I-88. It was about 9:15. After a stop for bread and milk, we were in the house, happy to be home.

I had forgotten what June was like for us -- convenient, for me. The evidence of the pace and magnitude of our workload during those final weeks of June is everywhere in this house.

I have the better part of the next three weeks to get some things done here, and then we'll head to Maine. It's easier to think about working hard for the next couple of weeks, in light of the fact that we still have that vacation coming up.

For now, I'll drink my cup of coffee and watch Today. The mess has waited 26 days (or more); it can wait an hour or so more.
