Okay, I'll Explain

We have a bird feeder in the back. All winter long we have enjoyed watching the variety of birds that have flocked to our feeder, but lately, the squirrels have been taking over. At first, they were likely to run off if they sensed that we were near. Now, despite the fact that Kim will open the back door and yell at them, or open the back window and chuck ice cubes at their little squirrel heads, they just simply glance at her as if to say, "What!?" This morning, after she unloaded another verbal assault, she slammed the backdoor and entered the kitchen muttering to herself, "Even the squirrels don't take me seriously."
